I realized it's been a long time since I've really updated so I figured I would catch everyone up:

At least I've had movies and friends to keep me busy. Yay!!! I am really looking forward to the Dark Knight next weekend. And I have seen some pretty awesome movies lately:

The Strangers (back when it came out, lol)
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (back when it came out too, lol)
I Am Legend (awesome!)
Meet the Spartans (funny, but not as funny as I had hoped)

1. animal planet - I used to watch this channel alot, but stopped for some reason. Then sometime last year I got a job on 2nd shift and in the break room their tv got Animal Planet (along with like 3 other channels, NONE of them interesting lol) and I found out that Crocodile Hunter (<3 Steve Irwin) was on during my lunch so I started watching it. Then I started watching at home, just random shows. I love animals!!!

2. cute underwear - There was a time many many years ago where I cared nothing about how I dressed, especially when it came to underwear. Then one day, out of the blue, I developed a taste for cutesy and girly underwear. And then I started buying bras to match, just because. Eventually I got a collection, which I adore. Boyshorts are my favorite! <3

I guess you might say I'm easily entertained lol....

4. lindsay hohan - (LOL Jojo, did you change that to "Hohan" on purpose???) Ok. Yes she's weird and wild and crazy and she's been in and out of rehab but for some reason I still love her. I thought "Mean Girls" was an awesome movie which is what got me started. And a few days ago I watched "Georgia Rule" and loved it too! Then of course there's "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" too lol.....

5. my flip flops - I *LOVE* flip flops!!! I have 2 or 3 pairs of black ones, 1 pair of white, and one pair of hot pink. I wear them as much as possible, even in the winter. My fiance thinks I'm crazy cause it'll be like 20 degrees and I"m in flip flops lmao....

6. pop music - Oh man, this is me lol. Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson (I refuse to acknowledge Pete Wentz married her), Lindsay Lohan, pretty much anything "bubble gum" I like. And not just regular pop but J-Pop (Japanese Pop Music - Gackt, Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki) and K-Pop (Korean Pop Music - Ayumi Lee, Wonder Girls, Rain). Yeah, think that about sums it up...

Ok so it's been over a month since my last update lol. Not too much has been going on, just work and paying bills lol. David and I have been going house shopping recently and we think we MAY have a prospect. I will give details once we decide on something.

Work is fine so far, I guess. I just hate how I don't really have anyone to talk to. Everyone seems to be finding their own little cliques. Maybe I'm just going through one of my moods but it just seems like people only talk to me because they feel they have to or something. It just makes me think of high school and I remember how nobody really wanted anything to do with me then either. Blah, moodiness!!!

On a much lighter note, my friend Heather came up from GA and I got to hang out with her and play pool. Very badly. Hehehe! And there is an Irish festival thingy this weekend and I'm looking forward to going! It sounds like fun, thanks LB for asking me to go!!!

Oh, and as you probably guessed from the title of this blog I have "rediscovered" Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco lol. Apparently I'm going through an emo phase (shutup). I even designed my own Fall Out Boy t-shirt which I cannot WAIT to get in the mail so I can wear it and take pictures!!! *dances* Hehehe!!!

Ok, well as far as updates that's really all I got. If I'm leaving anything out please feel free to tell me lol!!! Erica Dodd's boyfriend, David Wolfe, surprised her Christmas morning by concealing an engagement ring box inside a Christmas tree ornament.
"I'm so naive," Ms. Dodd, 23, laughed, "I thought it was a piece of candy. But then he got down on one knee and proposed."
Ms. Dodd launched preparations for her May wedding by attending Premier Bridal Show on Saturday afternoon at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
The bridal fair offered brides-tobe the convenience of "one-stop shopping," with 117 vendors of bridal services in one location.
"A wedding is the biggest event a bride will plan in her life," said Kara Lovett, of Knoxville, event organizer with her husband, Josh. "The average wedding costs $28,000, and the wedding industry is a $100 billion business.
"Many girls find a bridal show nonthreatening compared to making appointments for visits where they feel they get more of a hard sell or feel obligated to make a commitment," Mrs. Lovett said.
Several hundred women browsed four aisles of wedding vendors' booths, some giddy with excitement, others focused and taking notes as they priced wedding services.
At Silver Locket's booth, owner Melissa Hicks pointed out popular gifts for bridal party members.
"Brides are choosing engravable compacts or sterling silver beaded bracelets," Ms. Hicks said. "Guys choose flasks, money clips or cuff links."
Camera flashes popped repeatedly across the convention hall as brides-to-be shot digital photos of gowns, flowers and catering spreads they liked. Young women and their moms sampled cake slices, flipped through photo album displays and listened to sales pitches from florists, disc jockeys, videographers and venue managers.
At Eaves Formal Wear's display, Daniel Nesmith, 23, fed coins into that booth's slot machine trying to win two free tuxedos. Mr. Nesmith and his fiancée, Wendy Newton, 23, said they came to comparison shop.
"We're trying to get florists, cakes, photographers and a DJ down today before we leave town to go back to school tomorrow," Mr. Nesmith said.
"I came to get ideas. I'm especially looking for a photographer and florist," said Shemica Turney, 28, who is planning a July 5, wedding.
Bride-to-be LeAnn Campbell, 31, said she'd brought four bridesmaids with her for their opinions on caterers and photographers.
Sheena Glenn, 22, and fiance, Matt Cotten, 24, said they have been engaged since February and have a lot of their plans finalized.
"We really wanted to look at reception setups and honeymoon information," Miss Glenn said.
"I just liked the limos," Mr. Cotten added.

Because some people were asking.....

Ok I've had a few people ask me about how I met my fiance and how he proposed and all that stuff so I'm just going to tell the whole story for those who don't know it lol. (And if you do, feel free to sleep or go get some popcorn)

He was a supervisor where I worked at one point which is how we met in the first place. I never honestly thought it would go past the "hooking up" stage, mainly because of our work situation but also because of the age difference-he is 18 years older than me. So naturally I assumed he would want someone closer to his age. Apparently that didn't bother him because we started dating officially around November of 2006. We had our one year anniversary on Nov 18 of last year and then he proposed on Christmas day of last year.

Now about the proposal lol....

Ok, this is what happened. I woke up early on Christmas morning because we were going to his sister's for breakfast. I heard him get up and I called for him to come back and he told me he wanted me to look at something. And I was like "What is it?" and he said "Something's not right, you need to come here" and at this point I started panicking. He told me everything was fine, that there was just something weird I needed to see. So he leads me to the Christmas tree which only had lights on it (shutup, we're lazy) and there 2 ornaments hanging on it. So he says "I recognize the first one because you gave it to me, but where did the other one come from?" And I was still very tired and therefore confused so I was like "Iunno...." and he said "Maybe you should try to open it and see what it is" and so I was a little nervous (not knowing what it was and all) and I start trying to open it. Now this is how naieve I am--I thought it was going to be candy. I had just woken up and I was very confused, what do you expect??? lol. Anyway I opened it and then he proposed and I said yes and we are getting married May 23 of 09! Woot!

So, there it is! (Psssstttt, you guys can wake up now!) hehe.
